Senior Software Engineer – New Malden

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test system solutions for the Submarine Command System team.
• Guide and mentor junior software engineers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist the management team with reporting, planning, and estimation activities.
• Meet with customers and end users to support programme development and product evolution.
• Work full‑time on the New Malden site.

Qualifications & Skills

• Engineer with varied software‑engineering language experience, demonstrated across projects to design and deliver robust solutions in large multi‑layered, distributed systems.
• Experience developing support strategies in a software development role.
• Strong understanding of all aspects of a software lifecycle and knowledge of lifecycle models such as waterfall and Agile.
• Ability to contribute to complex defence sector projects.
