Banking Solicitor

Overview

Banking Solicitor – 5+ PQE – London – salary £80,000–£100,000 DOE.

Responsibilities

• Act as counsel for lenders, corporates and sponsors in complex financing transactions.
• Advise on leveraged finance, real‑estate finance, project finance and asset‑based lending.
• Lead transactions from instruction through to completion, providing commercially focused advice.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver seamless legal support.
• Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to business development initiatives.

Candidate

• Qualified solicitor with at least 5 years’ PQE and strong background in banking & finance.
• Experience advising on corporate lending, leveraged finance, and/or real‑estate finance transactions.
• Excellent technical and drafting skills.
• Confident managing complex transactions with minimal supervision.
• Commercially astute, proactive in developing client relationships and business opportunities.
• Collaborative approach and effective cross‑team working.
