VodafoneThree: Procurement Lead (8 month FTC)
Location: Newbury (other working locations considered e.g. Manchester, London) – Hybrid working
Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Job Description
As Procurement Lead you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Telecoms Security Act in accordance with VodafoneThree policies and will work closely with the Senior Manager Procurement – Networks and the VPC to provide expert advice and guidance. You will deliver creative challenge and thought leadership to influence and support business decision‑making.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure all supplier contracts, renewals and variations include TSA‑aligned security, resilience and reporting clauses.
- Support the preparation and management of evidence packs for external audits, regulatory submissions and governance forums.
- Support end‑to‑end compliance with TSA reporting obligations.
- Support the update of TSA‑related procurement policies, standards, processes and supplier assurance frameworks.
- Contribute to broader security and resilience programmes within the organisation.
- Execute and deliver on the delivery plan, interacting with senior stakeholders across VodafoneThree including Regulatory, Legal and Security teams to identify, manage and mitigate risks to ensure delivery.
Qualifications
- Stakeholder influence: Confident engaging senior leaders, legal teams, security teams and suppliers.
- Collaboration: Works effectively across functions in a matrix environment.
- Communication: Clear, concise communicator able to simplify technical and regulatory detail.
- Problem‑solving: Finds practical, risk‑balanced solutions while maintaining regulatory integrity.
- Engagement and relationship building abilities (internally and externally, all seniority levels).
- Experience working within teams to develop complex, business‑wide category and supplier strategies.
- Experience in senior stakeholder level business partnering.
