Reed in Partnership is a family‑owned company delivering public services since 1998. We are looking for an Operations Finance Business Partner to support our Programme Director and Senior Operations team.
Pay Range: £48,500 – £57,000Working Hours: Full‑time (flexible part‑time options available).

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Finance representative for the Programme Director and Senior Operations team, supporting contract performance reviews and financial reporting.
- Develop and manage monthly, periodic and long‑range performance and finance forecasting models.
- Prepare detailed financial and performance models, ensuring they are user‑friendly and align with contract plans and targets.
- Produce and disseminate management accounts, P&L reviews and KPI reports to operational leads and senior stakeholders.
- Identify and communicate cost variances, providing explanations and recommendations for improvement.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and strategic review processes, consolidating up to 200 cost centres.
- Engage with operational leads to gather information for rolling forecasts and resource planning.
- Respond to ad‑hoc commercial analysis requests and support the Commercial Accounting team in adopting emerging technology.
- Review and enhance the quality and relevance of finance outputs, implementing continuous improvement practices.
Qualifications
Essential Criteria
- Part or Qualified Accountant.
- Management accounting experience in a private sector environment, including financial reporting, KPI preparation and communication.
- Proficient at building detailed forecast models using Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience presenting financial information to non‑financial managers.
- Knowledge of Power BI or similar, and ability to set up reports.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Proactive, self‑motivated, agile attitude with excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
- Team player with strong interpersonal, relationship‑building and communication skills.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple concurrent tasks.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in influencing and supporting colleagues to achieve business objectives.
- Business partnering or commercial accounting experience in a private or contracting environment.
- Demonstrated experience in presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Experience working in a fast‑paced, changing finance environment.
- Understanding of best practice communication and diversity & inclusion.
