Senior Project Manager – Sustaining

Pertemps South Wales is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Sustaining to lead engineering projects in Clevedon. This permanent, full-time, on-site role offers a salary of £60,000 to £63,000 per annum plus bonus, and focuses on product lifecycle management, obsolescence, cost reduction, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple engineering projects and programmes.
• Manage project scope, budgets, risks and delivery plans.
• Drive obsolescence, product support and engineering change projects.
• Deliver cost reduction and value engineering initiatives.
• Build strong relationships across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality.
• Provide project reporting, governance and stakeholder updates.
• Support continuous improvement of project management processes.

Qualifications

• Project Management qualification (APM, PRINCE2 or similar).
• Experience leading complex engineering projects within manufacturing.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing project budgets, risks and delivery schedules.
• A good understanding of engineering change, product lifecycle management and continuous improvement.
• Preferable: Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Lean or Six Sigma experience.
• Experience within high‑tech or advanced manufacturing.

Location

This is an on‑site role based in Clevedon, North Somerset, with occasional international travel.
