The opportunity
As the Salesforce Integration Developer this role will work closely with the Salesforce Technical Lead and Lead architect to help with the development, integration and configuration of the Salesforce platform and to perform the day‑to‑day operations that maintain the platform. You will partner with people across the business and broader IT team to deliver customer value through the extension of CRM services.
Key responsibilities
- Work on Salesforce FSC projects to integrate with 3rd party SaaS systems and internal on‑prem systems leveraging APIs, different integration patterns and tools.
- Leverage the existing DevOps tools and methodologies (Azure DevOps) for deployments of user stories, tickets and bugs.
- Analyse requirements and translate them into technical solutions, especially around integrations.
- Design, build and test applications ensuring high‑quality delivery.
- Act as part of the Run/Ops team of Salesforce to help with BAU requests and maintain the Salesforce platform.
- Own the Salesforce tickets and incidents raised by end customers and help with the build and resolution.
- Work closely with the technical lead and architect to build enhancements on the existing Salesforce platform.
- Complete necessary technical and solution documents and artefacts in line with organisational standards.
- Adhere to best practices, quality management framework and ensure quality delivery of enterprise solutions.
- Perform hands‑on Salesforce solution development with proven knowledge across declarative configuration and programmatic development.
- Perform peer reviews and sign‑off on technical solutions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce customisation and integration developer.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, Streaming API, CDC and Platform events.
- Experience in Financial Services Cloud and Vlocity (Salesforce Industries).
- Expertise in Salesforce Lightning, flows, Salesforce security model and other configuration tools.
- Experience with LWC and Apex (triggers, batch classes).
- Good experience in Omnistudio – Omniscripts, Flex Cards, Data Raptor and Integration Procedures.
- Experience in implementing eID&V solutions.
- Experience working for a bank or a financial services institution is a plus.
- Salesforce System Administrator, Developer, App Builder and Omnistudio developer certifications are a plus.
