About the role

Our Capital Allowances team is market‑leading, providing advisory, operational, technological and compliance services to many clients across various sectors, with a focus on maximising tax relief on capital expenditure. We advise on all aspects of capital allowances across a broad range of clients, working closely with the team and our partners across the country.

What your days will look like

As part of the team, you will continue to build your tax technical skills while working with a range of clients and teams. You will also develop operational consulting and technology skills as you support clients in addressing the practicalities of meeting an increasingly complex regulatory landscape.

Key responsibilities

  • Client relationship and business development – build relationships with clients and collaborate with PwC teams to identify opportunities for clients to maximise their capital allowances claims.
  • Innovative solutions and high‑quality advice – provide tailored advice on capital allowances across all reliefs and develop bespoke solutions to optimise tax relief on capital expenditures.
  • Team leadership and development – manage and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment to ensure high‑quality service delivery.
  • Industry engagement and continuous learning – stay updated on legislation changes related to capital allowances and leverage technology to solve client problems and improve service efficiency.

This role is for you if

  • Proficient in capital allowances technicalities and analysis, with experience dealing with a range of clients and various scenarios within the property life cycle.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and maximise tax relief opportunities for clients.
  • Effective communicator, both written and oral, committed to teamwork and delivering excellent client service.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong project management, prioritisation, and self‑organisation skills.
