Senior Mobile Engineer

Build and improve the mobile apps our grocery business runs on every day — the customer shopping app, the in-store fulfilment app for staff, and the driver app for deliveries.

What you’ll work on

• The customer grocery shopping and ordering app
• The in-store fulfilment app used by store staff
• The driver app for deliveries and live tracking
• Shared foundations: payments, push, offline, and real-time sync

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain cross-platform mobile apps for iOS and Android (and Huawei).
• Work closely with backend and design to ship smooth, reliable, real-time experiences.
• Handle the hard parts: offline behaviour, push, live tracking, payments, and performance.
• Own release cycles across the app stores and keep crash rates low.
• Use AI tools to accelerate development and prototyping.

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years shipping production mobile apps that real users depend on.
• Strong with React Native or Flutter (native iOS/Android a plus).
• Experience integrating REST/GraphQL APIs, payments, maps, and real-time features.
• A feel for mobile UX and an eye for detail.
• Self-directed, curious, and comfortable owning whole features.
