We are looking for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic nurse to join our team in the Teenage and Young Adult Daycare and Ambulatory Care Unit.
You must be a band 6 nurse (paediatric or adult) with at least 2 years of cancer experience. You must also be proficient in chemotherapy administration. You will have the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in caring for teenagers and young adults with a wide range of oncology and haematology conditions in a day‑care and ambulatory care setting.

The unit is made up of Ambulatory care, Daycare chemotherapy, supportive care and twice‑weekly sedated intrathecal lists.
Responsibilities
- Work across all units assessing patients for and delivering systemic anti‑cancer therapy, providing supportive care in both outpatient and ambulating settings, and providing holistic patient‑centred care.
- Co‑ordinate the safe, efficient delivery of care to the patient group.
- Demonstrate an understanding of delivering age‑appropriate care and a desire to work with teenagers and young adults.
Qualifications
- Band 6 banded nurse (paediatric or adult) with at least two years of cancer experience.
- Proficient in chemotherapy administration.
- Leadership, development and organisation skills to support safe, efficient delivery of care.
- Understanding of the importance of delivering care to this patient group in an age‑appropriate setting.
