Lead Fire Safety Engineer – Substations & Risk Strategy

National Grid is seeking a Lead Fire Safety Engineer to manage fire safety and risk across high voltage substations and infrastructure. You will develop fire strategies, policies and compliance reviews, and provide expert advice to projects on fire design and regulatory requirements.

You will lead model interpretations, engage with internal teams and external bodies, and mentor colleagues to raise fire safety capability. The role supports hybrid working across the UK.
