Position: Creative Production Manager

Responsibilities

  • Originate all physical and digital formats for a roster of key artists across the Frontline labels (Atlantic, Parlophone, Warner Records).
  • Research sales history and competitor analysis to determine product line‑ups, working with Label/Artist/Management/Commercial and designers.
  • Sourcing music and label copy from A&R, mastering and cutting studios, coordinating design, repro, approval and delivery to meet deadlines.
  • Project‑manage high‑profile, high‑spec campaigns, defining critical paths for releases across multiple formats, including D2C releases.
  • Coordinate with Digital Operations & PDM to originate and ingest standard/high‑resolution/Immersive digital formats, QC audio files (16bit/24bit HD WAVs and other formats).
  • Obtain product costs across releases, work with Finance, Commercial and Marketing to stay within packaging guidelines, and secure cost approval from WMUK Finance.
  • Ensure confidential and security procedures, coordinate global security plans, liaise with international affiliates, IFPI and advisory bodies.
  • Securely send pre‑release music to stakeholders (Spotify, Apple, journalists, radio producers) while preventing leaks.
  • Contribute to promo system and iOS/Android app development.

Qualifications

  • First‑class project management skills with experience managing campaigns with external partners.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within a record label or related environment.
  • Highly organised, efficient, able to meet deadlines in a pressurised environment.
  • Experience with design packages such as Photoshop and InDesign, and knowledge of design and print processes.
  • Experience in vinyl production.
  • Excellent understanding of digital files and music technology, comfortable with various IT systems.
  • Ability to form good relationships with internal and external colleagues; collaborative team player.
  • Pro‑active, forward‑thinking, interest in current trends and industry research.
  • Knowledge of sustainability in music formats and packaging preferred.
  • Experience in project managing IT system developments, including GUI changes, UAT testing and roll‑out.

Minimum office requirement: 4 days per week in the office.
