Geotechnical Engineer Roles Key Responsibilities

• Undertake ground and site investigations, including intrusive works and sampling.
• Complete Phase 1 desk studies, due diligence assessments and contaminated land investigations.
• Carry out geotechnical and geo:environmental analyses, including soil, groundwater and gas risk assessments.
• Produce clear, accurate factual and interpretative reports for clients and project teams.
• Support design and consultancy work related to foundations, remediation and site development.
• Collaborate with engineers across multiple disciplines to deliver integrated project solutions.

Geotechnical Engineer Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Geology, Geoscience, Environmental Science/Engineering, Civil Engineering or similar.
• Experience in geotechnical or geo:environmental engineering, including site investigation and report writing.
• Live in or near to Cambridge.
• Full right to work in the UK.
• A valid UK driving licence.
