Arup’s purpose, shared values and collaborative approach has set us apart for over 75 years, guiding how we shape a better world.
Arup’s Digital Technology group is home to the Design Driven Collaboration (DDC) team, a creative and user‑focused group dedicated to improving how people interact with digital products, services and information. Bringing together UX researchers, designers and technical writers, we champion evidence‑based design and clear communication to ensure our products are useful, usable and accessible. We work across Arup’s global portfolio of digital solutions, helping teams transform complex processes into intuitive experiences that deliver value for colleagues and clients alike. As part of this team, you’ll play an important role in translating complex technical concepts into clear, engaging and user‑centred content, supporting product adoption, knowledge sharing and the continual improvement of our digital products and services.

As a Technical Writer within the Design Driven Collaboration (DDC) team, you will play a key role in helping colleagues and clients understand and adopt Arup’s digital products and services. Working alongside UI/UX designers, UX writers, UX researchers and graphic designers, you will transform complex technical information into clear, accessible and user‑centred content. Our team specialises in helping users navigate complexity through thoughtful design, research and communication.
