What You Will Do

The successful candidate will work on the Integrated Product Support (IPS) and Training Team, collaborating closely with systems and software engineering and programme management. Your responsibilities will include developing and delivering technical documentation and training materials, preparing technical manuals in AESP or US Government formats, and providing both classroom and on‑job training using tools such as MS PowerPoint. You will manage training plans, coordinate with programme management and engineering teams, and support the preparation of IPS/Supportability documentation. The role is primarily based in Malvern, Worcestershire, with frequent travel within the UK and overseas.

What You Will Learn

Through extensive training you will gain in‑depth knowledge of the SCi‑Toolset and supporting hardware, the development, testing, deployment and maintenance of secure, multi‑server systems, and operational use of these systems in UK and international customer environments. You will sharpen communication and stakeholder management skills by engaging regularly with internal teams and external customers.

Qualifications

  • Good working knowledge of technical documentation and training material production.
  • Experience in ISR Exploitation Systems is desirable.
  • Ability to develop, implement and control complex training plans under conflicting requirements.
  • Experience with MS Office for production, control and amendment of technical manuals.
  • UK security clearance at the SC level (or ability to obtain).
  • Full UK driving licence.

Preferred Experience / Qualifications

  • Technical author formal training or qualification.
  • Engineering experience.
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • Background in defense, aerospace or regulated mission‑critical environments.
  • Experience with customer‑facing systems and remote technical support.

Role Type

Onsite (Periodic work from home possible). The position is based at our Malvern office with regular travel to UK and overseas customer sites as needed.
