Open Access Officer
Full‑time post available immediately on a fixed‑term basis until 31 March 2027. Applications for secondments will be considered subject to agreement from your current line manager. The starting salary will be from £33,951 to £35,608 on Grade E, depending on knowledge, skills and experience. This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home – and we welcome applications from candidates interested in part‑time hours or job‑sharing arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Support researchers’ use of the institutional repository for Open Access to publications and data.
- Facilitate researchers’ compliance with open‑access funder requirements.
- Work within the wider Open Research Team responsible for the breadth of Open Research activities across Exeter.
Qualifications
- Understanding of the open‑access and open‑research landscape.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to adapt to changes in policy and requirements.
- Experience or strong interest in a research enabling/support environment.
Salary
£33,951 – £39,906 per year.
