VorentaGroupbringstogetherHallmarkVeterinary&ComplianceServicesandMeat&LivestockClassification(MLC),providing specialistservicesandresourcingsolutionsacrosstheUKagrifoodsector.
WorkingwithorganisationsincludingDefra,APHA,theFoodStandardsAgencyandleadingfoodproducersandretailers,weplayavital roleinprotectingfoodsafety,animalwelfareandpublichealth.
The Role
AsourHealth&SafetyManager,you’llberesponsiblefordeveloping,implementingandcontinuouslyimprovingourhealthandsafety managementsystemsacrossmultiplesites.
Responsibilities
- Leading investigationsintoincidentsandimplementingpreventativeactions.
- MonitoringlegislativechangesandensuringongoingcompliancewithUKHSErequirements.
- ManaginghealthandsafetyaspectsofourvehiclefleetandPPEprogramme.
- Workingcloselywithoperationalmanagerstoembedapositivesafetyculturethroughouttheorganisation.
About You
We’relookingforsomeonewhoenjoystakingownership,canworkindependentlyandhastheconfidencetoinfluencestakeholdersatall levels.
You’ll ideally have
- ArecognisedNEBOSHqualification(orequivalent).
- Experiencemanaginghealthandsafetyacrossmultiplesitesorfield-basedoperations.
- StrongknowledgeofUKhealthandsafetylegislationandISO45001.
- AfullUKdrivinglicenceandwillingnesstotravelnationally.
- Abackgroundinmanufacturingwouldbehighlyadvantageous,particularlywithinthefoodormeatprocessingindustry,althoughthisisn’tessential.We’reequallyinterestedincandidateswiththerightattitude,strongtechnicalknowledgeandahands-onapproach.
