Project Quantity Surveyor
Location: StaffordshireSalary: Circa £55-60K + Package (DOE)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join a well established regional contractor delivering high quality commercial construction projects across the Midlands. Working as part of an experienced commercial team, you’ll be responsible for the financial management of projects from procurement through to final account, ensuring commercial objectives are achieved while maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships.

Responsibilities:
- Managing the commercial delivery of construction projects.
- Procuring subcontractor packages.
- Preparing valuations and applications for payment.
- Managing subcontractor accounts.
- Cost reporting and forecasting.
- Managing variations and change control.
- Preparing and agreeing final accounts.
- Identifying commercial risks and opportunities.
- Liaising with operational teams to ensure commercial success.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Main contractor experience.
- Commercial construction project experience.
- Strong knowledge of JCT contracts.
- Experience managing procurement, valuations and final accounts.
- Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills.
