Product Manager

Product Manager – Permanent Contract (Hybrid Working options Available) at Bupa Place, Salford Quays or Willow House, Staines.

Compensation

Salary: From £58,700 dependent on experience, with a 10% Management Scheme Bonus.

Working Hours

Full time, flexible in location, hours and working patterns.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fair value assessments, regular product monitoring and governance, and product reviews.
• Define and manage plans to address underperformance and fair‑value issues.
• Support the review and evolution of product Terms & Conditions and literature.
• Act as product expert for customer‑facing and internal documentation, and handle internal and external enquiries.
• Interpret market, customer and competitive information to drive future product pipeline.
• Conduct annual fair‑value assessments, monthly product monitoring, and review results with cross‑functional and senior stakeholders.
• Serve as Product Lead in reviewing and evolving T&Cs and product literature for compliance with Financial Promotions and Consumer Duty rules.
• Monitor relevant health funding markets using web analysis and recognised market reports.
• Explain how dental products fit into the wider portfolio.
• Identify product development or improvement opportunities and define product strategy.
• Promote a culture of risk and control management to achieve good customer and regulatory outcomes.
• Support or manage the introduction of product enhancements and new products.

Qualifications

• Product management experience, ideally in Private Medical Insurance, General Insurance or Financial Services.
• Good knowledge of Bupa’s funding products and customer journeys.
• Experience managing or supporting fair‑value assessments and product reviews.
• Experience defining and managing product improvement plans.
• Experience reviewing Terms & Conditions.
• Exposure to risk and incident management.
