Job Role: Operational/Professional Services – Data and Reporting Analyst

The Role

The role is full-time, with an annual salary range of £34,023 to £37,690, depending on skills and experience. The position will be based across the Queensferry Road and Ravelston sites.

The purpose of the role is to support the school’s data systems and reporting processes, and to develop and maintain reporting tools.

Responsibilities

  • Support collection, storage and management of data.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, patterns and insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting tools and data models.

Qualifications

Successful candidates must have experience working with large and complex data sets, and in developing and maintaining reports and dashboards. A degree in a related field plus strong analytical and problem‑solving skills are required. Experience with cloud‑based data platforms, familiarity with DPIAs, and relevant qualifications in Power BI, SQL or Data Analytics are desirable but not essential.

Eligibility

ESMS is unable to sponsor international workers for this role. International applicants will therefore be unable to apply for and secure a Skilled Worker visa. Candidates must demonstrate an alternative right to work in the UK.
