Senior Transportation Project Manager
Gonzalez Companies is a partner-managed firm that provides comprehensive Planning, Design, and Construction Management Services to large and small Water, Sewer and Utility Districts; Departments of Transportation; and municipalities. We are currently seeking a Senior Transportation Project Manager to help serve our clients and community. Responsibilities
- Lead transportation design projects for MoDOT and Missouri local agency clients.
- Manage projects for MoDOT and Missouri Local Public Agency clients.
- Lead and mentor junior and mid-level engineers for project execution both in person and remotely.
- Participate in firm business development strategies and lead Missouri transportation design business growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- Missouri Licensed Professional Engineer.
- 7+ years of experience in transportation design with a focus on the Missouri market.
- Extensive knowledge of and familiarity with MoDOT design requirements.
Desired Qualifications
- Transportation design experience outside of the Missouri market, particularly Illinois and/or Kansas.
- Illinois and Kansas Licensed Professional Engineer.
- Experience collaborating with in person and remote teams.

Location: The position can sit anywhere in the State of Missouri or Southern Illinois as a hybrid or remote possibility and is bonus eligible.
