Client Project/Programme Manager
In this role, you will manage the relationship between OXB and its clients and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget to the required quality, securing successful long‑term alliances and advancing our mission.
We welcome applications from aspiring project managers with proven experience delivering on client projects in this field and are open to flexible home‑working arrangements combined with some on site presence.
Responsibilities
- Maintain client and partner satisfaction to build successful long‑term alliances.
- Understand client needs and identify ongoing project opportunities.
- Ensure projects are delivered within the agreed scope, timeline and budget, with all milestones met.
- Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation actions.
- Provide project updates and performance data to OXB management to support strategic and tactical decision‑making.
- Manage all financial aspects of the collaboration, including forecasting, cost control and invoicing.
- Determine scope, costings and timelines for new work packages.
- Assist with preparing proposals and contribute to contract negotiations with prospective clients.
Qualifications
- Scientific degree or PhD.
- Significant project management experience inclusive of budgetary ownership, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Strong technical understanding of biopharmaceutical process development and GMP manufacturing.
- Experience working to external client deliverables.
- Line management experience preferred but not essential.
- Experience managing projects using MS Project and MS Excel.
