The City Apprenticeships Hub is a central service to lead, support and develop apprenticeships provision and apprentices across the university. Key to the success and growth of apprenticeships is a clear structure and process from enrolment to completion.
To strengthen the current provision and grow it further, a Quality Assurance Manager with strong quality assurance skills and sound apprenticeship experience is essential, to assist the Head of Apprenticeships and meet/exceed DfE and Ofsted regulations and requirements. Line management responsibility of all Assessors across the university apprenticeship programs.
Duties
- Responsible for the operation and evolution of the apprenticeship programmes quality assurance framework, including End-point Assessment process and compliance checks.
- Supporting the Head of Apprenticeships and QA Manager – Apprenticeships with Quality Achievement Rates forecasting/ reporting and internal verifications of assessor duties.
- To standardise practice across programs and maintain and improve the OFSTED grading to aid achievement.
- Educated to A level standard or equivalent.
- Extensive knowledge of apprenticeships, apprenticeships systems and reporting of.
- Knowledge of the OFSTED inspection framework.
- Experience of the end-to-end process for EPA Experience.
- Knowledge and experience of compliance, quality, verification, auditing and reporting.
- Confident and professional, with excellent working knowledge of apprenticeship reporting, audit requirements and supporting senior management.
- Experience of working within a complex/multi-tiered work-based training provider.
- Experience of working in the area of apprenticeships.
- Experience of working with apprenticeship systems such as the Apprenticeship Service.
