Responsibilities

  • Support end‑to‑end sales activities in delivering Accenture security offerings across cyber resilience, cyber protect, and cyber strategy domains covering areas such as security governance, cloud, AI, cyber strategy, risk assessments, identity and access management, and managed security services.
  • Implement security resiliency and compliance measures for complex technical transformation and capability enhancement projects.
  • Work within industry sector top clients, including critical national infrastructure and clients of national significance with both IT and OT cybersecurity risks.
  • Lead and win large, complex cybersecurity deals from early pursuit shaping through to contract signature, converting sales pipeline into revenue.
  • Qualify and lead the sales pursuit of new opportunities for Accenture clients by leveraging our industry‑specific security teams and capabilities to drive customer growth.
  • Identify and engage potential clients through research, targeting appropriate leads, cold outreach, networking events, social media, or other channels.
  • Convey the value proposition of our cyber security capabilities or services, actively listening to understand client needs, articulating solutions, and persuading prospects to take action.
  • Develop effective sales strategies by understanding market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer pain points, adapting approaches as circumstances change, and overcoming objections or obstacles to close deals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships externally with clients and internally within Accenture, nurturing existing relationships to generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Lead joint account planning sessions between Accenture and ecosystem partners to align and accelerate existing opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10+ years of client‑facing experience with a demonstrated record of closing large, complex cyber programmes.
  • Proven experience in sales roles, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in the last 3–5 years.
  • Strong prospecting and lead generation skills, effectively identifying and qualifying potential clients.
  • Experience working with Board and C‑Suite level contacts.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, overcoming objections and securing commitments from clients.
  • Results‑driven mindset focused on achieving sales goals and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools for lead management, pipeline tracking, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of the threat landscape and cyber risks for clients within the specific industry sector.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory landscape for clients within the specific industry sector.
  • Knowledge and experience of security standards, procedures, reviews and automation.
  • Familiarity with IT and OT security risks, challenges and solutions.
  • Knowledge of industry best practice and applicable standards for cloud security.
  • Familiarity with common frameworks within the industry sector (e.g., NIST, NISD, ISO27001, CIS controls).
  • Knowledge and experience of AI security, including frameworks, recent training and evidence of selling AI‑enabled proposals and content.
  • Experience selling cloud‑based solutions and platforms.
  • Deep ecosystem partnerships with leading security products and platforms.
