Permanent post at Uddingston Grammar School. 35 hours per week, not term time, 52 weeks per year. Work pattern Monday‑Friday. Hourly rate £15.35‑£15.54 per hour.

This role is for a School Support Assistant Team Leader and will lead an effective member of the support services team within a learning community, delivering a high‑quality service that supports pupils and staff and contributes to a positive school ethos.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day‑to‑day operation of the support services team. Supervise and support staff. Ensure effective communication across the school community and liaise with school management. Deliver support to pupils and families and maintain a positive school environment.

Essential Attributes

  • Experience of working with children and/or young people in a formal setting
  • Able to demonstrate proven IT skills
  • Able to supervise and lead a team of staff
  • Flexible and adaptable

Requirements

Experience of care and welfare of young people in a childcare environment and optional supervisory experience. Excellent ICT skills and ability to undertake a variety of tasks using a range of software applications. Competent administrative skills and evidence of organisational experience.
