Job Title: PA to MD, Head of CIB Coverage

Location: London

Hours: Full-Time

Working Pattern: Hybrid – at least two days per week (40% of time) at an office site. Flexibility and accommodation are available for staff with disabilities.

What You’ll Be Doing

Provide dedicated personal‑assistant support to the Managing Director, Head of CIB Coverage, managing a demanding diary, coordinating domestic and international travel, preparing meeting materials and ensuring the smooth running of day‑to‑day activities for the senior executive within CIB Coverage.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage a complex diary for the MD, ensuring optimal use of time across internal, client and external commitments.
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Assistant and Business Manager to support the day‑to‑day running of the Executive Office and wider business priorities.
  • Coordinate meeting papers, briefings and presentations, working with senior stakeholders and executive offices across the Group.
  • Support extensive domestic and international travel schedules across the UK, North America and other key business locations.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including Sector Heads, Relationship Directors, Executive Offices and a broad network of PAs.
  • Manage expenses, corporate card approvals, invoices and gifts and hospitality processes.
  • Act as a key point of contact for the Executive Office, handling a wide range of enquiries with professionalism, discretion and sound judgement.

  • Experience supporting a senior leader with a demanding workload and frequently changing priorities.
  • Strong diary management skills, with the ability to navigate complex schedules and adapt swiftly to change.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • High levels of discretion, judgement and attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate needs and think ahead.
