Band 7 Senior Clinical Dosimetrist

We are looking for someone to join our Radiotherapy Physics team as Band 7 Senior Clinical Dosimetrist.

Main duties of the job

• To contribute to the day-to-day work of the treatment planning section, principally the computer planning of patients undergoing radiotherapy including both routine and highly complex treatments.
• To participate in the work of the Mould Room.
• To fulfil the role of Operator and Practitioner in accordance with written authorisation and local procedures under the Ionising Radiations (Medical Exposures) Regulations 2017 (IR(ME)R).

Person specification

Education / Qualifications

• Honours degree in Therapeutic Radiography or other appropriate science subject.
• HCPC Registered.

Experience / Knowledge

• Extensive experience in radiotherapy treatment planning.
• Experience of Eclipse treatment planning system and Aria oncology management system.
• Experience in training others in treatment planning.
• SABR treatment planning experience.
