The Opportunity

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will lead the design and delivery of structural engineering projects from concept through to construction. You will manage project programmes, budgets and resources while working closely with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams. You will also mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver structural designs, calculations, reports and technical documentation.
• Manage project scope, programmes, costs and deliverables.
• Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, regulators and design teams.
• Review designs and drawings to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Attend site visits, inspections and project meetings.
• Support and mentor graduate and junior engineers.
• Assist with client development and fee proposals.

About You

• Experience working as a Structural Engineer within a consultancy environment.
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Chartered status or working towards Chartership would be advantageous.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
