Contract Highways Engineer – Road Safety & Active Travel

Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking a qualified civil engineer for a 6-month contract with a local authority in Hackney to lead the design, development and delivery of highway, traffic, active travel and public realm improvements.

You will manage projects from concept to implementation, produce drawings with AutoCAD, and ensure compliance with legislation, design standards, and Council objectives to deliver high-quality, customer-focused outcomes.
