Procurement Delivery Manager

Proclinical is seeking a Procurement Delivery Manager to join a dynamic team on a 12-month contract. This role focuses on supporting procurement activities within Clinical Laboratories and R&D categories. You will play a key role in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization while collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to enhance procurement processes and deliver impactful results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.
• Conduct market research and analysis to inform procurement strategies.
• Drive cost optimization and operational sourcing activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including category management, contracting, analytics, and business stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into effective sourcing and spend‑management activities.
• Enhance the customer buying experience through improved procurement processes.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise for procurement‑related projects.

Key Skills and Requirements

• Background in business or scientific disciplines (e.g., Biological/Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry).
• Proven working history in procurement.
• Proficiency with procurement systems and processes.
• Strong skills in supplier management, contracting, negotiation, and cost optimization.
• Knowledge of Clinical Laboratories commodity areas (e.g., Genomics, Bioanalytics, Flow Cytometry, Histopathology, Central Laboratories).
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry practices and R&D regulations (e.g., GCP).
• Business‑level proficiency in English.
