Requirements
- We need proven experience developing and supporting Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS, ideally in a large-scale distribution environment.
- We need strong proficiency in MOCA and SQL development within the Blue Yonder ecosystem.
- We need hands‑on experience with Blue Yonder Integrator, including design, configuration, and management of integrations.
- We need strong working knowledge of Blue Yonder Page Builder, including creating and maintaining actions, lists, and batch processing.
- We need solid understanding of database architecture and design, including experience with Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.
- We need good working knowledge of Linux operating systems, including navigation, file management, and basic scripting.
- We need experience with integration and communication methods such as SFTP, APIs, web services, and message‑based interfaces.
- We need a strong understanding of system design and data integration principles, including performance, scalability, and data integrity considerations.
- We need experience working in a structured software development team environment.
- We need proficiency with Git for source control and collaborative development.
Responsibilities
- We will develop, configure, and deploy Blue Yonder WMS customisations and integrations in line with business requirements and best practices.
- We will lead by example in code quality, documentation, and solution design, supporting developers through mentoring and hands‑on guidance.
- We will provide training and knowledge transfer on Blue Yonder tools, frameworks, and best practices within the team.
- We will perform enhancements, upgrades, and system configuration within the Blue Yonder MOCA architecture.
- We will design and implement WMS reports, interfaces, and data extracts using SQL and related tools.
- We will conduct thorough unit testing to ensure solution quality and performance.
- We will participate in system upgrades, patches, and version migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- We will produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including functional specifications, configuration records, and operational procedures.
- We will provide second and third‑line support for Blue Yonder WMS incidents and change requests.
- We will liaise with internal infrastructure, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance.
- We will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping to optimise warehouse automation and logistics processes through system enhancements.
- We will use Git for version control, code management, and collaboration across multiple developers and environments.

We are partnering with a global client to hire an experienced Blue Yonder WMS Consultant for a 12‑month contract starting as soon as possible. The role is hybrid, with 2 days onsite in Essex, and is an outside IR35 long‑term project.
