Senior PHP Developer (R&D) – Doncaster

Salary: £50,000 – 60,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong experience in PHP/Laravel development
• Creative problem‑solving and programming skills
• Interest in emerging technologies and AI enablement
• Experience with software optimisations and performance tuning
• Experience with AI/Python would be beneficial

Responsibilities

• Join our Innovations Team to work on proof of concepts and AI‑enablement initiatives
• Build proof of concepts and the resulting project work across the business
• Work alongside colleagues from multiple disciplines, including data analytics and operations
• Develop primarily within our PHP/Laravel/Vue stack
• Explore emerging technologies and AI‑enabled solutions beyond our core stack
• Support stakeholder engagement and collaborate with the team in person as needed
