Senior .Net Developer

A growing technology business is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to join its small, high-impact engineering team building an operating system for assets as a service. The platform supports banks and alternative investment managers with asset finance software, combining portfolio servicing and payment flows with IoT-driven tracking of clean assets.

Role

• Lead with strong backend engineering expertise
• Work across the stack where needed, with support from AI coding tools
• Contribute to cloud/devops-aware product development
• Help accelerate delivery in a lean team of 3 developers
• Collaborate closely with a chatty, highly communicative startup team

• Senior-level backend engineer, likely at the lower end of the senior spectrum
• Comfortable working autonomously in a small team

• Able to work end-to-end when needed, even if primarily backend-focused

Useful background experience

• Fintech / asset finance / investment platforms
• Payments or payment processing
• IoT / telematics / clean tech / net zero tech
• SaaS platforms in regulated or operationally complex environments

Working style

• London office, 3 days per week: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
• Best suited to someone who genuinely enjoys in-person collaboration in a startup environment
