What you’ll be doing:

The Senior Analyst is responsible for supporting the buildout and maintenance of the Investment Enterprise Risk & Control Framework, ensuring robust governance, effective risk management, strong outsourced provider oversight, and the delivery of meaningful insight to support strategic decision-making across the Investments function.

  • Support the ongoing development and maintenance of the Enterprise Risk & Control Framework across the Investments function.
  • Analyse incidents, near misses, and risk events, performing root cause analysis and ensuring remediation actions are implemented and tracked to completion.
  • Perform oversight of key outsourced providers, including asset managers, custodians, fund administrators, and data providers, through governance reviews, due diligence activities, and performance monitoring.
  • Assist with strategic change initiatives, including fund launches, asset transitions, operating model enhancements, and new provider onboarding, ensuring risks are identified and effective controls are embedded throughout the change lifecycle.

What we’re looking for:

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years’ experience within investment operations, investment oversight, risk management, governance, pensions, asset management, or a related financial services function.
  • Strong interest in investments, financial markets, investment products, and risk management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
  • Ability to identify, assess, and clearly document risks, controls, and operational processes.
