Lead and Shape Radiology Services Across the Outer Hebrides

NHS Western Isles is seeking an experienced and motivated Radiology Manager to lead the delivery and development of Radiology Services across one of Scotland’s most unique healthcare settings. This is an exceptional opportunity to influence the future of diagnostic services within a remote and rural health board, providing strategic and operational leadership to a skilled and committed multidisciplinary team.

Working closely with clinicians, senior leaders and regional partners, you will play a key role in ensuring safe, effective and person-centred imaging services for our island communities.

This role offers a breadth of responsibility and influence that is rarely available within larger organisations. You will have the opportunity to work directly with senior decision-makers, shape service development and make a visible difference to patient care across the Western Isles. The Outer Hebrides offer an outstanding quality of life, combining professional fulfilment with a unique island lifestyle. The Western Isles offer a bit of everything, from stunning beaches and outdoor pursuits to vibrant communities, excellent schools and short commuting times, the islands provide an enviable work‑life balance.

Whether you are looking for a fresh professional challenge or a lifestyle change, this is a unique opportunity to develop your career while enjoying all that island living has to offer.
