QA Engineering Lead

We are seeking detail-oriented and proactive individuals with experience building great software products and improving engineering efficiency to join our team as a QA Lead. As a QA Lead, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality software and platforms for wearables product lines, working alongside expert software engineers and research scientists to create technology that makes wearables pervasive and universal.

QA Engineering Lead Responsibilities

1. Build a test-driven/user-centric engineering environment that drives improvements in quality
2. Implement process changes to scale testing efforts across multiple products
3. Plan, develop, and execute test efforts for multiple platforms
4. Identify, test, track, and report KPI trends over the course of a project
5. Diagnose issues, report defects, and propose regression/A/B tests to discover reoccurrences
6. Work with engineers and project leads to triage and prioritize issues for resolution
7. Own the process of creating metrics to measure and monitor product performance
8. Partner with Automation and Infrastructure teams to leverage automation for better reliability and scalability

Minimum Qualifications

1. 6+ years of driving Quality Assurance (QA) strategy and/or equivalent experience
2. Experience debugging applications on platforms, PC, and mobile components
3. Understanding of coding in Python, PHP, Java, C/C++ or equivalent languages
4. Experience partnering and/or collaborating across multiple teams

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience establishing and following structured testing processes that consistently deliver measurable quality improvements
2. Experience building, shipping, and maintaining commercial software on top of consumer electronic devices
3. Experience in quality assurance within the AR/VR and wearables domain
4. Experience in managing black box and white box testing
