Controller of Site Safety
Location: Doncaster, Barnsley, or Rotherham
Contract: 45‑55 hours per week, with allowance for weekends and Saturday work.
Employment type: Contract.
Compensation
£19 days & nights, £21 per hour on weekends. Umbrella or PAYE available.
Van & Fuel Card provided.
Qualifications
Minimum 12 months’ experience as a COSS.
Desirable Experience
- Extensive experience working within different safe systems, including taking line blockages.
- Civils and groundwork experience is desirable but not essential.
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence with no bans in the previous five years.
Vital is the current supplier of the contingency labour framework to Network Rail for the next five years. This opportunity offers long‑term, secure work with a progression pathway for the right individuals.
Due to the contract with Network Rail, payment is available via Umbrella or PAYE through Vital. We are unable to pay CIS or Ltd Company.
