Air Conditioning Installation Engineer

Location: North West (UK Wide Travel Required)Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Our client is a leading refrigeration and HVAC contractor delivering installation, maintenance and project works across the retail, commercial and industrial sectors throughout the UK.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join our installation team.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of a wide range of air conditioning systems, including split systems, multi-splits, VRV/VRF systems and packaged equipment across commercial and retail environments.

Responsibilities

  • Installation of air conditioning systems to manufacturer specifications
  • Installation of pipework, controls and associated equipment
  • Commissioning and testing of systems
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Completing installation documentation and reports
  • Working safely and in accordance with company procedures
  • Liaising with project managers, site managers and customers

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial air conditioning installation
  • Fully qualified Air Conditioning Engineer
  • F-Gas Certification
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship

Desirable

  • IPAF
  • PASMA
  • CSCS Skill Card
  • First Aid
  • Experience with Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric and Toshiba systems

Package

  • Basic Salary £40-45k, depending on experience
