Senior Highways & Active Travel Design Engineer (Hybrid)

WORKwithYORK is seeking an experienced Highways Engineer for a 6-month assignment based in York, with hybrid working. The role involves feasibility studies, detailed designs on road safety schemes, safer routes to schools, and active travel schemes, collaborating with site teams.

You will review sites, propose options with preliminary cost estimates, and help shape a programme through detailed design, public consultation and implementation. CAD/AutoCAD proficiency and CDM knowledge are required.
