We are seeking Integrity / Plant Engineers (permanent role) with specific pressure systems knowledge to take up a position in our expanding Asset Integrity Management team based in our brand new facility in Derby, UK.

Requirements

The candidates must have some experience in all, or most, of the following: integrity assessment of defective power plant components low and high temperature (e.g., reverse code calculation, fracture mechanics, finite element analysis), legislative compliance (e.g., UK PSSR), power plant inspection (e.g., steam and water pressure parts, boiler tube surveys, support surveys) with an understanding of materials selection, damage/degradation mechanisms and life assessment, power plant mechanical engineering, and power plant operations and maintenance. In addition, you will have excellent organisational, problem‑solving, communication and report‑writing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver power plant integrity assessments.
  • Assist in developing risk‑based inspection strategies.
  • Provide technical support and advice to clients.
  • Assess inspection results, making run/repair/replace decisions.
  • Produce formal technical reports and other project deliverables on time and to budget.
  • Create proposals and tender return documents and develop new business.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of standards, legislation and good practice.
  • Conduct site visits both within the UK and occasionally abroad to meet project requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

BEng Degree or equivalent in an engineering related topic, preferably mechanical engineering. Incorporated Engineer or working toward professional registration is desirable. Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience.
