An opportunity to work on the MOD project in Plymouth, delivering major redevelopment works over the coming years.
Payroll: PAYE basis.
£300 – £350 Per Day Depending On Experience/qualifications
Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays).
Must Have
- Academic Qualifications – Civil Engineering, Quality, Construction related Qualification (HNC, BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng)
- CSCS – White PQP/AQP
This role is site based – Monday to Friday.
45 hours per week (07:30am – 17:00pm).
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the Quality Management System is implemented and maintained at all levels.
- Act as the primary quality communication channel, driving resolution of quality issues.
- Plan, undertake, and close out internal audits in line with the Audit Schedule.
- Prepare, review, and manage Inspection & Test Plans (including subcontractor ITPs).
- Support delivery teams with progressive ITP sign‑off, attending regular client quality meetings.
- Manage material approvals, inspections, and certification tracking.
- Review Lifetime Quality Records and support timely handover documentation.
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and site training on Quality requirements and systems.
- Manage Non‑Conformances, reviewing trends and reporting to senior management.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and proactive quality engagement.
