Senior Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and refine CNC machining processes for both new product introductions and existing production lines.
- Generate CNC programs, setup sheets, tooling configurations, and detailed process documentation.
- Provide daily production support by diagnosing machining problems and delivering technical solutions.
- Partner with design engineering teams to ensure new product designs are optimized for manufacturability.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on boosting efficiency, quality, and production throughput.
- Assess and integrate new cutting tools, fixturing systems, and advanced technologies to enhance machining performance.
- Deliver training and technical assistance to machinists and production operators.
Senior Manufacturing Engineer Requirements
- 5 years of CNC programming experience
- Strong expertise in CNC milling; turning experience a plus
- Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and CAM software (CAMWorks or equivalent)
- Proven ability to create error‑free programs independently
