Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Contract Maintenance Engineer – Winsford

Role: Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer.

Hourly Rate: £40 per hour (LTD – Outside IR35). Shifts: 4 on 4 off days (12 hours). Duration: 2 months.

Qualified Maintenance Engineer with a multi-skilled background, ideally Electrical expertise (Mechanical Engineers with Electrical qualifications also considered). Experience in an FMCG environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fault diagnosis and breakdown repairs of plant and site service equipment.
• Proficient in RCA and problem solving.
• Planned maintenance and maintenance requests.
• Adherence to statutory checks and GMP.
• Involvement in CI and capital projects.
• Ensuring that machinery is maintained and repaired to a high standard.
• Train and motivate production teams to improve plant and equipment understanding.
• Ensure all responsibilities and practices are carried out with the aim of producing food safely and to required internal & external specifications within a HACCP framework.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer.
• Electrical bias preferred; Mechanical Engineers with Electrical qualifications considered.
• Experience in a FMCG environment.
