RECSEEKERS is working with a leading name in community-led tech recruitment to appoint an experienced Principal Consultant into their Technology practice in London. This is a business built on relationships, not headcount, B Corp certified, Investors in People Platinum, with international reach across the UK, Ireland, Europe and the US. You’d be stepping into a Principal-level seat with real weight behind it and a career pathway that’s actually mapped out, not vague promises about “future leadership.”
Here’s what should get your attention: quarterly commission runs on a clear ratchet starting at 10% and climbing to 50% for billings above £120,000 in a quarter, no threshold to clear before you start earning it. On top of that, transparent 360 placement splits means if you win the business and place into it yourself, you keep the value of both, not a diluted share once someone else claims account ownership.
Progression isn’t a vague conversation either. It’s a defined pathway with real markers: leading client meetings face to face, growing accounts through collaboration, converting multiple product offerings including contract, exclusive and retained business, and being able to sell the group’s full offering rather than just your own patch. This is Principal-level for people who actually want to operate at that level, not a title handed out for time served.
The role

Who we’re looking for
Experienced 360 recruiters with a proven track record at Principal level or ready to step up into it, with genuine market knowledge and the relationships to back it. What matters is your ability to win business, convert it into placements, and hold your own with senior stakeholders. This isn’t a role for trainees or anyone chasing a low-BD desk with a big guaranteed base regardless of performance.
