Job Description
Project Manager is responsible for leading projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and to a high standard of quality. This role combines strong project execution with continuous improvement and stakeholder management, acting as a trusted partner to both internal teams and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive performance within the SPCPD team by setting clear expectations, promoting accountability, and supporting achievement of business objectives.
- Lead multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring consistent delivery on time, within scope, and with strong stakeholder satisfaction.
- Identify training gaps within the team and design and deliver development initiatives to enhance skills and performance.
- Act as a customer and partner advocate, ensuring solutions meet or exceed expectations.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, reduce time to revenue, and enhance implementation efficiency.
- Maintain full ownership of project documentation, including project plans, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and meeting minutes.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks and blockers to ensure project success.
- Ensure adherence to organizational project management best practices and support audit preparation and compliance activities.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and customers.
- Facilitate workshops, manage stakeholder discussions, and confidently handle conflict resolution when required.
- Mentor and support the development of less experienced team members, contributing to overall team capability growth.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience managing multiple complex projects in parallel within a structured delivery environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor team members.
- Experience driving process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Certification in PRINCE2 or PMP (nice to have).
- Six Sigma Green Belt (nice to have)
Location expectations
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
