About the Role

As a Junior Compliance Analyst you will be introduced to regulatory compliance in investment management, gain industry knowledge, experience and develop relationships to progress your career. The role is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract based in London with a hybrid approach of four days in the office and one day working from home. You will join the Investment20/20 programme, meeting and networking with over 300 trainees across the industry and participating in socials and insight events.

Responsibilities

  • Help operate FCA compliance processes, controls and regulatory reporting, and contribute to the compliance monitoring programme.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of group compliance policies, procedures and registers across jurisdictions.
  • Review financial promotions and contribute to the firm’s SMCR obligations.
  • Track and help interpret regulatory changes, supporting their implementation across the business.
  • Contribute to the review and remediation of compliance issues and breaches, working alongside compliance, business and risk teams.
  • Assist with DDQ completion, third‑party service provider reviews and compliance projects.
  • Help ensure effective compliance training is in place for all staff, and support the firm’s compliance obligations.

Skills and Requirements

  • Confident written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in regulatory compliance, primarily FCA.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Team player with a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent organisational skills, able to manage priorities and work to tight deadlines.
  • ‘Can do’ attitude to learning and enjoys developing new skills.
  • Ability to ensure all tasks and sensitive information are handled confidentially.
  • Good working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel.
