Quantity Surveyor

A local authority in the North West is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of housing refurbishment and capital construction projects on an initial 12-month contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide commercial and cost management across construction projects.
• Manage pre and post contracts.
• Administer contracts and manage change control, valuations, and final accounts.
• Support procurement and tender processes.
• Monitor budgets, risks, and project financial performance.
• Provide advice on contractual matters to project teams.

Requirements

• Degree or Charteredship in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Strong experience in a Quantity Surveying role within construction or infrastructure projects.
• Working knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.
• Strong commercial, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
