Job Description

During Design stage, work as part of a team in delivering one or more projects at any time, embracing the ethos of a “one team” culture. Develop multi‑discipline models and drawings using Autodesk Revit in compliance with project‑specific requirements. Assist in the production of Bespoke Revit families. Manage model warnings and ensure data is structured correctly within the model to allow data extraction. Check model coordination throughout all phases of the project. Track clashes and communicate the same to the Project design lead through accurate reporting. Ensure information exchange formats are consistent and delivered on the CDE – Revit, DWG, IFC, PDF, NWC & NWD. Maintain project‑specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP) in response to client Exchange Information Requirements (EIR). Ensure TIDPs, MIDPs & associated Responsibility Matrix are in place at the start of each project. Manage the project CDE to ensure the folder structure, workflows, reviews and user permissions are correctly aligned to our company SOP. Ensure standard libraries are in place at the commencement of each project and available to all team members.

Ensure shared resource information is available to the relevant stakeholders on the CDE at the commencement of each project. Work with Glanua Design, Contract & Project Managers and our consultant design leads to ensure all information is submitted through the CDE. Communicate with Surveyors to ensure on‑site control before starting the construction stage. Cross‑check all models and confirm the accuracy of model coordinates to the site coordinate system. Coordinate digital deliverables to support a complete and structured digital handover, ensuring asset information is captured accurately and aligned with client requirements.

During construction stage: Ensure constant communication between the office and site is maintained. Ensure all site activity is always captured and made available on the CDE. Ensure the model matches site progress and is modified to suit any site changes. Carry out point‑cloud surveys capturing site progress. Update the BIM model with captured as‑built information. Collect equipment data for input to the model elements. Confirm that below‑ground data is being recorded and cross‑checked against the model. Ensure the project MIDP is aligned with the construction programme and provides an authentic look ahead for upcoming site works. Ensure the information requirements of the client asset management system are being recorded and linked to the BIM. Ensure the O&M and Safety files are continually updated as the project is delivered. Ensure structured digital handover is achieved by coordinating as‑built models, client asset data requirements, and documentation, validating completeness and alignment to our clients process before submitting for handover.
