Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Small Works – Working closely with the Contract Managers to commercially manage small‑scale projects from handover to final account.
  • Subcontractor Procurement – In coordination with the rest of the commercial team, send out tender enquires, assess quotes, and nominate subcontractors.
  • Subcontractor Management – In coordination with the rest of the commercial team, raise orders for subcontractors and suppliers, and assess and process applications for payment.
  • Site Visits – When required, attend site to observe the works and gather information, be it photos, copies of tickets, or site diaries.
  • Document Management – Ensure all contract documents are filed in the appropriate place, including applications for payment, certificates, instructions, etc.
  • Assist Commercial Coordinator – Aid the Commercial Coordinator in their day‑to‑day tasks, including raising invoices, uploading figures into the accounting software.
  • Maintain good relationships with clients, consultants and colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Quantity surveying degree or relevant work experience.
  • Attention to detail and care for presentation of work.
  • A desire to learn and develop.
  • Full driving license.
