Job purpose

Working closely with a Customer Experience Manager, this role will take ownership of the facilities/hard services of a building cluster, providing direction to projects when it comes to mobilising buildings and scheduling/planning maintenance. The role involves supporting, managing and developing a team of maintenance/facilities colleagues.

  • Strong collaborator, building relationships with colleagues, contractors and suppliers
  • Ability to manage multi‑projects, thinking proactively and reactively to preempt incidents
  • Experience managing contractors and suppliers to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Compliance conscious, with knowledge of health and safety best practice
  • Passionate about customer experience and responsive to customer needs
  • Experience mobilising buildings is highly advantageous

What you’ll be doing

  • Deliver maintenance tasks to uphold high standards in every part of the building
  • Lead and develop a team of facilities members, fostering a culture of first‑time fix
  • Coordinate and manage contractors on site, reviewing RAMs and permits and attending meetings
  • Handle customer‑reported maintenance, ensuring PPM checks, remedial work and escalation as required
  • Manage compliance and safety, including fire risk management through the company’s system

Location

Manchester City Centre clusters – buildings such as Pall Mall, Circle Square, Blackfriars, Neo, Bond, Bloc.

Hours

37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, typically 8:30 am – 5 pm or 9 am – 5:30 pm.
