From repairing fences and treating mould to improving loft insulation, you'll play a key role in helping customers live safely and comfortably in their homes. Every day brings a new challenge and the opportunity to make a real difference.n What you'll do:n Deliver high-quality work in line with your trade training, experience, and industry best practice.n Follow job instructions efficiently and complete tasks as detailed.n Work safely in accordance with Risk Assessments and Method Statements.n Support managers and supervisors to maintain a safe, compliant working environment.n Communicate clearly with planners, call handlers, and colleagues to keep operations running smoothly.n What we're looking for:n We're looking for someone who shares our values and takes pride in delivering quality work:n Customer Driven : You put our customers first, ensuring every repair is completed to a high standard and every interaction leaves them feeling valued.n Accountability: You take ownership of your work, meeting deadlines and delivering a reliable, professional service every time.n Develop & Learn: You're commited to growing your skills, and embrace new techniques, whilst staying up to date with best practices.n Champion Communication: You communicate clearly and confidently with customers and colleagues, keeping everyone informed.n You'll bring:n Proficiency in fencing repairs, loft insulation, and mould treatment, while using a broad range of trade skills.n Experience in labouring duties within a building maintenance environment.n Knowledge of Health & Safety and safe working practices.n Experience working in social housing or domestic properties, including occupied homes.n Demonstrable experience of replacing missing or broken hardware, such as hinges, latches, and brackets.n * A full, valid UK driving licence.n For further information on the role, please review the job description attached to the advert.n Pre employment requirementsn The successful candidate will be required to complete Basic DBS, DVLA and Right to Work checks.n Why join Selwood Housing?n At Selwood Housing, we believe everyone deserves a safe, secure and affordable place to call home.
